An unpaid remote internship I started in late May through middle of August for the summer. InOrbit Systems is a prebuilt computer company that has a game development division to help students get internships. I was assigned to work on a project that had recently started development working off of Unreal Engine's Lyra multiplayer shooter template. I was tasked as a level designer working on 2 small to medium sized multiplayer maps for a 3rd person tactical shooter game.

I was responsible for:
- Revamped a map created by a previous individual contributor, enhancing the level layout to fit with the tactical shooter genre
- Created a new map with a focus on world-obstacles and paths constrained to a small combat arena
- Pitched my ideas with references and layout sketches in meetings
- Utilized Unreal Engine’s Landscape Tool, Landscape Materials, Geometry Brush Tool, and the Material Editor
